call the mea (metropolitan electricity authority) hotline at 1130, they can often process reconnections within a few hours if you've already paid. but if it's after 5pm you're probably stuck until morning, most condos need a building manager to let them in the meter room anyway. check with your juristic person office first, they might have an emergency contact for the building's electrician who can flip the main breaker if it's just a trip

honestly if you paid online already sometimes the system updates faster than you'd think. check if you got a confirmation SMS from MEA, if so take a screenshot down to the juristic office or show the security guard. they might let you into the meter room to reset the breaker yourself if it's just been tripped not pulled

otherwise yeah grab a cold shower and maybe head to a 24hr place like the food court at CentralWorld or even a late night cafe on Sukhumvit 38 if you need wifi and AC. the MEA reconnection fee is 200 baht if they had to pull the meter, but if it was just a payment issue they should turn it back same day within office hours

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
