Where to find less expensive luggages?

The ones at the malls, and even jatujak are more expensive than the ones I could find back in the US, but with much lesser quality. Any suggestions? The ones at the malls, and even jatujak are more expensive than the ones I could find back in the US, but with much lesser quality. Any suggestions?

Check out the shops along the stretch of Phra Khanong near Sukhumvit 71, just past W District. There are a few wholesalers there that sell to the local market, so you'll find decent hard-sided spinners for around 800 to 1,200 baht. The quality is about the same as what you'd get at a mall for triple the price, just less brand polish.

try chinatown around yaowarat road, lots of shops selling bags and luggage that are way cheaper than malls, just gotta haggle a bit

honestly check out the weekend market stalls near the far ends of chatuchak, not the main aisles. the smaller stands there have unbranded ones that are like half the price of the mall stuff, just bring cash and bargain hard

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
