Which condo is everyone living in?

Currently hunting for a 1 year lease condo, but coming across so many negative reviews on 75% of the condos. eg. noise insulation, thin walls, bad juristic office, bad security guards, power outages,… Currently hunting for a 1 year lease condo, but coming across so many negative reviews on 75% of the condos. eg. noise insulation, thin walls, bad juristic office, bad security guards, power outages, no water pressure, too many noisy tourists from Airbnb, no maintenance after 1st year of building condo, etc.

It's been quite time consuming going through all these reviews, my question is what is the name of the condo that you are living in currently, and which buildings have you been in before that should be avoided?

I'm in Life Asoke Rama 9 and honestly it's been fine for the last two years. The walls aren't paper thin and I rarely hear neighbors unless they're having a loud party. The juristic office is responsive enough, they fixed a leak in my bathroom within a day.

Before this I was at The Base Park East in Thonglor and I'd skip that one. The pool and gym looked great in photos but the management let the maintenance slide hard after the first year, and the elevators broke down constantly. You're smart to read the reviews because some of these newer buildings look flashy but cut corners everywhere.

honestly I'm at Rhythm Ekkamai and it's been pretty decent for the price. The walls are thick enough that I only hear my neighbor's dog barking sometimes, and the juristic office fixed my AC within 4 hours when it broke on a Sunday which surprised me. The water pressure is solid even during peak morning hours

I'd avoid The Room Sukhumvit 69 though. Stayed there for 6 months and the construction noise from nearby buildings was relentless, plus the management changed 3 times during my lease and nobody knew what was going on. The pool was always closed for "maintenance" like every other week

tbh I've been at Ideo Q Sukhumvit 36 for about a year and a half and it's been solid. The walls are concrete so noise isn't really an issue and the juristic office actually picks up the phone when you call which is rare here. Only downside is the pool gets crowded on weekends but that's every condo in bangkok

Before this I was at The Lofts Ekkamai and man that place was a nightmare. Paper thin walls where I could hear my neighbor sneeze, constant water pressure drops in the morning, and the security guards were always on their phones. The building looked great online but the construction quality was garbage. Stay away from anything by that developer honestly

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
