Hello. Can anybody recommend a dayclub in Bangkok? Thanks

haven't seen anyone mention sing sing theater on sukhumvit 45, it's more of a daytime party than a pool club but the decor is wild and they do afternoon sets on weekends. drinks are around 300-350 baht and it gets going around 2pm with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. if u specifically want water, the courtyard pool at the standard bangkok on sathorn is underrated and usually quiet until late afternoon

the rooftop at octave on sukhumvit 55 is my go-to for a dayclub that's more chill than w bar. it's got a 360 view and the vibe is more loungy than party, but the music still picks up around 4pm. drinks are around 350 baht too but the crowd is a bit older and less rowdy. if u want something on the river, the rooftop at avani riverside is solid with a pool and good food options nearby at asiatique

W Bar on Sukhumvit 11 is a solid choice if you want a pool party vibe without going too far from the nightlife. It gets busy on weekends with a younger crowd and the drinks are priced like a hotel bar, so expect 350-400 baht for a cocktail. If you want something more laid back, the rooftop pool at SO Sofitel has a dayclub feel with better views and fewer people trying to take your lounger.

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
