Where can I found the best grilled chicken in Bangkok ?

Where can I found the best grilled chicken in Bangkok ? Halal Option would be even better Where can I found the best grilled chicken in Bangkok ? Halal Option would be even better

If you want halal grilled chicken, head to the area around Pahurat or Little India on Phraeng Phuthon Road, there are a few small spots there that do it right. For a fancier option, try the grilled chicken at Baan Khanitha, they use a Thai-style marinade with turmeric and lemongrass and it's consistently good. But for street-level, the vendors near the entrance to the Bangkok Mosque on Soi Sukhumvit 3 have a great version with sticky rice and a spicy jaew dipping sauce.

honestly for halal grilled chicken i'd go to the stalls on soi rambuttri near khao san road, there's a spot called jay fai's little cousin (not the famous one) that does a mean gai yang with a super smoky char. they use a clay pot setup and the marinade has this hint of coriander root and white pepper that's hard to beat. the whole meal with sticky rice and som tam runs about 60 baht and they're open til midnight

ngl the best halal grilled chicken I've had is from a place called Gai Yang Korat on Soi Phetchaburi 15 near the old Pratunam area. it's a tiny shop with just a few plastic tables but they use a korat-style marinade thats heavy on garlic and fish sauce with a bit of palm sugar, grilled over charcoal right on the street. the meat is super tender and they give you a spicy tamarind dipping sauce thats way better than the usual jaew. a quarter chicken with sticky rice is like 50 baht and theyre open from 5pm til they run out around 10

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
