ngl the foreigner bars on silom soi 4 go all out and it's way less packed than khao san. bali room and the strip usually have a costume contest with a 5k baht bar tab prize and they keep it going til 4am. just bring cash cause the atm lines get stupid long after midnight

since you're looking at that weekend specifically, check out the halloween market at river city bangkok on the 25th and 26th. it's more of a daytime thing but they have a costume parade along the riverwalk and vendors selling weird food like black burgers and red cocktails. gets pretty crowded by 4pm though

the greyhound cafe on sukhumvit 39 does a halloween brunch on the 27th with themed pastries and a bloody mary bar, it's not really a party but it's fun if you want something chill during the day. reservations prob a good idea since it's a small spot

for actual late night stuff, the dempsey on sathorn has a halloween drag show on the 26th that's way more fun than the usual club stuff. cover is like 300 baht and they do a costume contest where the winner gets a bottle of champagne. gets going around 11pm so you can go eat dinner somewhere nearby first

The W Bangkok has a big Halloween bash on the 26th that includes a costume contest with actual prizes, not just a free drink. yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
