Also, if you haven't already, take your video to the local police station where the crime happened and ask for a "inquiry official" specifically, not just the front desk officer. The station on Soi Sukhumvit 101/1 handles a lot of expat cases and might take it more seriously.

if you got the video on a usb or something, take it straight to the tourist police at the suvarnabhumi airport office, they actually have a fast track for cctv evidence and can issue a report in english. the embassy might give u a list of lawyers who deal with this stuff, but they wont touch the case themselves. also try posting in the "bangkok crime watch" facebook group, the admins there are pretty connected and can often nudge the right people

honestly the embassy wont get involved in criminal stuff, thats what the thai police are for. if you got clear video try filing a formal complaint at the station where the crime happened and ask for a copy of the report, that might help push things. also u could try contacting the british embassy's consular line just to ask if they can flag the case or give u advice on local legal steps, but dont expect them to arrest anyone

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
