if you're closer to the thonglor area, the sports complex at the american school of bangkok (asb) has a decent indoor court and gets some competitive games going. it's not super cheap though, think it's like 200 baht per session for non-members. also worth checking out the basketball group on meetup, they organize games at different spots around the city and the level is usually pretty good

honestly the best bet is probably the indoor court at Nimibutr Stadium near Chatuchak, they have regular runs with decent players on weeknights. also check out the basketball courts in Benjakitti Park, there's usually a solid group there on weekend mornings

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
