Ikea is actually worth a look for this. Their basic Gulliver pillow is around 149 baht and the Krita sheet set starts at 299, which is cheaper than most department stores. You can find them at Mega Bangna or Central Bangna, or if you're downtown the Sukhumvit location near Phrom Phong.

If you're near the old town, head to Bobae Market near the end of Krung Kasem Road. The market wholesale prices on basic pillows and sheet sets, usually around 100-200 baht each. Just don't expect anything soft, they're fine for a couple months.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
