It's about 120 baht and will stop the vomiting pretty fast. Stick to sips of coconut water from the fresh vendors on Soi 11 and plain rice from the khao tom (rice soup) carts on Sukhumvit Road for the next day or two. Your friend's pad ka prow spot is fine, just bad timing with the virus.

tbh sounds like norovirus to me too, had the exact same thing last year and thought I was dying for a week. the cold symptoms come first then the stomach gets wrecked, it's brutal. if it was food poisoning you'd prob be sick within a few hours of eating and it wouldn't drag on like this

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
