Expats here, do you use lazada or shopee for online shopping?

I really miss amazon. But being in thailand, you don't have much choice. I use shopee only to buy english books, not all books can be found, but sometimes there are. How about you?

I lean pretty heavily on Shopee these days, mostly because their free shipping vouchers are way more reliable than what Lazada offers. Lazada's selection is bigger for electronics and home stuff, but I've noticed Shopee's book section has gotten better lately, especially if you search in Thai. For Amazon-style convenience, I'd say Lazada wins on variety but Shopee wins on not making you hunt for a shipping code.

pretty much both but lazada for anything i need fast, their next-day delivery actually works if you're in central bangkok. shopee for the random household stuff like kitchen gadgets or cheap clothes where i don't mind waiting a week. also shopee's live selling is insane for deals on snacks and toiletries if you can sit through 20 minutes of someone yelling about dish soap

Honestly I use both but Lazada way more, their shipping is faster in my area and the return process is less of a headache. Shopee's good for random cheap stuff like phone cases or snacks though

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
