However, I have no idea how they are mixed, and all the necessities to start a perfume business.

Can anyone here share me a good workshop or course where I can experience mixing them hands-on?

oh and if you're serious about the business side, check out the fragrance bootcamp at The Scent Lab near Phrom Phong. it's more about formulation math and IFRA compliance than just mixing pretty smells, which honestly is where most newbies mess up. they do a 2-day thing where you actually calculate dilution ratios and learn about restricted materials

honestly you should check out Perfumery Bangkok on Sukhumvit 49, they run a solid intro workshop that covers the basics of blending and raw materials. i think it's around 2,500 baht for a 3 hour session and you get to take home your own small bottle

if you want something more serious there's also Scent Academy near Ari, they do a weekend intensive that goes into extraction methods and stuff like absolutes and tinctures. that one's pricier but prob worth it if you're actually looking to start a business

one thing nobody tells you is that the heat here messes with scent stability big time, so learning about storage and formulation for tropical climate is key. both places touch on that a bit but ask specifically about it during the session

If you want to understand the raw material side before jumping into blending, check out the weekend sessions at Thai Perfume School on Charoen Krung. They're a bit tucked away near the old town and focus more on identifying single notes and understanding how synthetics behave in this humidity. It's about 3,500 baht for a full Saturday and you leave with a solid foundation on which oils and bases actually hold up here, which is useful if you're planning to sell locally.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
