ngl the wind's carrying that smoke pretty far south, saw it from huai khwang so it's definitely not small. check the bangkok alert line on line app, they post incidents faster than the news

just saw some stuff on twitter about a fireworks storage going up near the old castle complex. could be that. the soi dogs have been going crazy for the last 10 mins too. check the bangkok fire department feed if u want confirmation.

Probably just a transformer blowing or some construction demo, happens pretty often around here. Might be worth checking the Lat Phrao community Facebook groups, they usually have the scoop within minutes.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
