Hi guys/gals, I accidentally left my iPad in a hotel in ratchaburi and can't get hold of the hotel, if anyone is passing through there or knows anyone visiting there I would appreciate it a whole… Hi guys/gals, I accidentally left my iPad in a hotel in ratchaburi and can't get hold of the hotel, if anyone is passing through there or knows anyone visiting there I would appreciate it a whole lot if you could help me out with retrieving it. It was a gift from my dad and it has a lot of treasured pictures on it that didnt upload to my iCloud. It would mean the world to get it back.

If you can't reach the hotel by phone, try calling the tourist police hotline at 1155. They speak English and can contact the hotel on your behalf or help coordinate getting the iPad to a local station where you can pick it up. Ratchaburi's not huge so most hotels there know the local police office.

Worth checking with the hotel's Facebook page if they have one. A lot of smaller hotels in Ratchaburi are more responsive on Messenger than by phone, especially if the front desk staff don't speak much English. You could also try posting in the "Ratchaburi Expats" group on Facebook, it's smaller but people there tend to know the local hotel owners personally.

Oh man that's rough. You might want to try posting in some of the bigger Thai expat Facebook groups, like "Bangkok Expats" or "Pattaya Expats," since people are always driving out that way and someone could swing by the hotel for you.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
