If you're near Sukhumvit, check out Bangkok Hospital's International Clinic on Soi 3. It's a bit more than the smaller clinics at around 2,500 baht for a consult, but every staff member speaks English and they handle insurance paperwork directly. I've had friends go to the Thonglor International Clinic on Soi 55 as well, where a basic visit runs about 1,200 baht and they're used to dealing with tourists. Just bring cash or a card that works in Thailand because some of these places don't always accept foreign credit cards smoothly.

honestly if you're central and don't need the big hospital markup, try the International Medical Clinic on Soi Convent near Silom. Dr. Somchai does walk-ins and his English is solid, consultation runs about 800 baht which is cheaper than most places on Sukhumvit. just know they close at 5pm and cash is king there, the card machine is finicky

A lot of expats in Bangkok end up at MedConsult Clinic on Soi Thonglor 21. Dr. Donna there speaks English fluently and they cater to foreigners, so you won't have to explain yourself a hundred times. For a standard consultation you're looking at around 1,000 to 1,500 baht, but that doesn't include any meds or lab work if you need them. If you're closer to the BTS, Bumrungrad's outpatient clinic is pricey but efficient, though you'll pay closer to 2,000 baht just to see a doctor.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
