nah no laws against that stuff here, you'll find it everywhere. 7-Elevens actually carry basic lube now, just look near the condoms by the register. if you want something better, hit up a pharmacy like Boots or Watsons on Sukhumvit, they have Durex and KY. for fancier stuff there's a shop called Pink Pussycat near Nana, they've got a whole wall of options and the staff don't bat an eye

honestly you're overthinking it, Bangkok's pretty chill about this stuff. no laws against selling sex products, you'll see them out in the open at most convenience stores and pharmacies

if you want something specific try the vending machines at BTS stations, some of them carry lube and condoms. saw a few at Phrom Phong station near the exit. also check out the Japanese stores in Thong Lo like Don Don Donki, they've got a decent selection in their "adult" aisle near the back

for online ordering Shopee is super convenient and discreet, most sellers ship in plain packaging and it arrives within a day or two. just search "น้ำมันหล่อลื่น" and you'll get tons of options

yeah totally legal, no worries there. if you're near silom there's a place called after you that has good stuff, or honestly just grab it off shopee or lazada delivered to your door if you're shy about it

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
