The best selection of imported cigarettes and rolling tobacco in that area is probably at Villa Market on Soi Langsuan itself. They carry a decent range of British and American brands that are harder to find at 7-Eleven, plus a few rolling tobaccos like Drum and Golden Virginia. If you want something more specific like Cuban cigars or rare pipe tobacco, you'd have to head to a specialist like Bangkok Cigar Bar on Soi 23 or the duty free shop at CentralWorld.

If you're after loose rolling tobacco, the little shop under the Nara Thai restaurant on Soi Ruam Rudee often has some interesting imports. It's about a ten minute walk from Langsuan. They sometimes stock brands like Old Holborn and Amber Leaf that you won't see at Villa Market. For proper Cuban cigars, the humidor at the Landmark Hotel's ground floor shop is worth a look, they have a smaller but well kept selection compared to the big cigar bars.

For rolling tobacco, check out the tobacconist in the basement of Central Chidlom, which is just a short walk from your area. They carry some lesser known European brands like Samson and Bali Shag that you won't find in most convenience stores. If you want proper Cuban cigars, La Casa del Habano at the InterContinental Hotel has a walk-in humidor with a good selection, though their prices are on the higher side for Bangkok.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
