Does anyone have any specific dermatologist/doctor they go to for their Botox or fillers? I don't want to just walk into a random clinic not knowing who's going to treat me lol so I prefer recommended doctors. You can PM me if you prefer. Thank you!! πŸ™

second this, his weekday slots go fast though

honestly for fillers i'd skip the clinics on sukhumvit and go see dr. porn at the aesthetic institute on silom soi 5. he's an ent facial surgeon so he knows the anatomy way better than most derms, less risk of that overfilled pillow face look. about 8k per syringe of juvederm which is fair for his level. also he's super honest, told me i didn't need my nasolabial folds done at all and just gave me a cheek touch up instead. book through their line, he's usually free on weekdays before 5pm.

if u want someone who's not gonna upsell u, try dr. natt at bnh hospital. she's been doing this forever, mostly sees thai celebs ngl, but she's not flashy about it. prices are mid range, like 5k per area, and she'll tell u straight if u don't need anything. booking via their app is easy, just put her name in the notes. also the hospital pharmacy is right there if u need anything after, which is lowkey convenient

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
