If you're stuck at a mall like CentralWorld or Siam Paragon, try walking to the main entrance where taxis and ride-hails usually queue, not the basement or side doors. Drivers for smaller apps like Geab often avoid mall pickups because parking is a nightmare and they lose time. The phone number they want is your own registered Thai number, but if you're using a foreign SIM, just type 0812345678 as a placeholder and it'll go through. Also, the app chat is way more reliable than calling for sending your exact spot.

honestly just cancel and rebook with grab instead. geab's support is useless, i've been through this. if you're at siam paragon or centralwOrld, go to the actual taxi queue area on the ground floor, drivers actually stop there. next time keep the app chat open and send a pin drop instead of calling

oh man that sucks. the phone number they want is prob your thai number linked to the app, but if you're using a foreign sim just put in any 10 digit number like 0800000000, i've done that before and it worked somehow. also try the live chat in the app instead of calling, just spam "help" in the message box til a person shows up.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
