I know Kleens make some decent shakes especially the chicken breast ones but I've kinda blacklisted them when the machine at Asok hasn't given me my change a few times. More the principle of the thing really

Even more surprised there isn't anything in Thailand when I went to Indonesia recently & they have their L-men brand which is available even in supermarkets with powders, bars, crisps & even protein cappuccinos

honestly try the 7-Eleven protein snacks, they've got these little chicken bites and egg white rolls that are cheap and decent. not as fancy as the imported bars but way easier on the wallet. also check out the maki brand at Tops or Villa, they do a thai-style protein bar that's like 35 baht and actually tastes good. for powders, the local brand ONNIT is alright but you'll find it mostly at fitness stores like Fitwhey on Sukhumvit 24 rather than supermarkets.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
