Hi, how do I watch EPL & UCL football in Thailand on my TV? Can you recommend the best android box/app that I can use to watch this? I'm from Malaysia and I usually depend on Astro to watch this but I need an alternative to watch Arsenal games for the

honestly for arsenal games specifically, i'd skip trueid and go straight to a fire stick with a decent iptv service. there's a guy at fortune town on the 2nd floor who sets them up for like 1,500 baht with a year of service that covers every epl and ucl match. no buffering on big games in my experience, just need decent wifi. trueid is fine if u want the legit route but their app can be annoying when the stream drops during a goal

I'd actually look into the Arsenal Thailand Fan Club, they meet at The Sportsman pub on Sukhumvit soi 13 for every match. No need for any box or subscription when you're there, just show up and watch with the other Gooners over a cold Leo. If you're set on watching at home, grab a TrueMove H SIM card with their sports add-on for 199 baht a month and cast it from your phone to the TV, way less hassle than dealing with Android boxes that need constant firmware updates.

for arsenal games specifically, check out the discord groups where thai fans share links for each match. way cheaper than any box or subscription, just cast it to your tv from your phone. the streams are usually stable if you join the right group, i've been using one for 2 years now and only missed like 3 games due to buffering. downside is you gotta deal with thai commentary sometimes but honestly it's fine once you get used to it

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
