Where can i buy indian's masala and Daal(lentils)?

So i wanted to try make Indian's dishes and i have no idea where to buy theirs masala(like chicken tikka masala, chicken korma etc) and daal(lentils). try little india in phahurat, that's the main indian area. there's a market called phahurat market with a bunch of small shops selling spices and lentils by the kilo, way better selection than makro. if u want pre-mixed masala like chicken tikka, check the shop called 'india emporium' on silom road - they have a good range and the owner actually knows which one works for what dish. also the little shop under the saphan taksin bts station has cheap daal but it's not as fresh

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
