forget the big box stores, check out the electronics market at fortune town on ratchada. they have a whole section of japanese surplus dehumidifiers that already come with drain hoses fitted. i picked up a panasonic f-yv50hx for 3500 baht there, half the price of homepro. just bring a picture of your sink setup so the seller can help you pick the right hose adapter. works perfectly in my bathroom on sukhumvit 71

Mitsubishi makes a couple of models that come with a drain hose kit and they're pretty common at HomePro or Power Buy. I've got the MJ-EV230HX and it runs the hose right into the sink drain pipe under the counter, no bucket to empty. Just make sure you get the right hose adapter for your sink's pipe size, the ones at HomePro on Rama 4 have a decent selection.

honestly if you're in a condo you might wanna check with the juristic office first. some buildings on sukhumvit have rules about draining into sinks cause of the plumbing setup. i got a sharp from lazada that drains fine into my kitchen sink but my friend in thong lor had to return his cause the pipe was too small. the sharp CV-80H is pretty compact and has a continuous drain option, about 4500 online. just measure your sink area first cause some of these things are bigger than you expect

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
