skin clinic recommendation? botox

anyone know any reputable clinics? thanks anyone know any reputable clinics? thanks

honestly for botox in bkk i'd look at the doctors who work out of smaller derm clinics rather than the flashy places on Thong Lo. Dr. Nok at Yoskarn Clinic on Soi Ekamai 12 is my go to, she's super conservative with dosage and charges around 1,800 baht a unit, which is fair for her experience. the other thing is to check if the clinic uses real Allergan, a lot of places will try to pass off cheaper Korean brands at the same price, so ask to see the box before they open it. if you're willing to go a bit further, Dr. Somsak at Ratchada Skin Center is also solid but he's often booked out two weeks in advance.

I'd skip the big hospital chains unless you want to pay triple for the same product. Dr. Chi at The Skin Clinic on Sukhumvit Soi 33 is solid, she's been doing injectables for over a decade and won't push units you don't need. Prices run around 1,500 to 2,000 baht per unit for Botox, which is pretty standard for a reputable place here. If you're near Thong Lo, Klinique has a good rep too, but book ahead because they're always packed.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
