Can i book Apartment for 2 months while on Tourist Visa?

I was looking at airbnb but to be honest, there aint really nice ones. i am looking for a nice luxury apartment, maybe penthouse or a Loft.

And also, for how long can i extend my Visa?

honestly skip airbnb for anything over a month, the prices are inflated and you're paying for daily cleaning you don't need. check out agents like Siri Homes or The Park Lane, they manage whole buildings in Phrom Phong and have legit penthouses with pool views for around 50k a month, way more reliable than random listings.

for the visa thing, if you're planning to stay longer than 90 days just do a visa run to a Thai consulate in a nearby country, it's easier than dealing with extensions. Poipet on the Cambodian border is the cheapest at like 1,500 baht for the whole day trip, but if you want less hassle go to Koh Kong and spend a night there, the drive from Bangkok is about 4 hours.

For a 2 month stay on a tourist visa, you should look at short term rental agencies like The Nest, Urbanest, or Haven't Found. They specialize in monthly furnished apartments in Sukhumvit and have nicer units than Airbnb for similar prices. A loft or penthouse in Thonglor or Ekkamai will run you around 40,000 to 70,000 baht per month depending on size and amenities.

You can extend a tourist visa once for 30 days at the Immigration office on Chaengwattana Road, so you'd get about 90 days total. The extension costs 1,900 baht and you need to do it before your initial 60 days expire. Just bring your TM30 receipt and a passport photo.

yeah you can book for 2 months on a tourist visa no problem, landlords here are used to it. check out hipflat or ddproperty for direct owner listings, way better than airbnb and you can negotiate down to 35-40k in ekkamai if you pay cash upfront.

visa extension is just 30 days at chaengwattana, but if you want to stay longer do a border run to savannakhet in laos for a new 60 day tourist visa, costs about 5k baht all in with a visa agent and you get another 90 days total

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
