I'm currently in Cambodia with my friend whose phone screen decided to die on her - today, our date of traveling back to Europe. We'll have a layover at BKK and I'd like to ask this expert community whether there is a phone repair shop at BKK that might be able to sort out her screen. Any help is appreciated 🙏🏻

In case it's relevant, her phone is a Huawei P30 Pro.

If you're stuck airside at Suvarnabhumi, your options are pretty limited. There's a Samsung service point near gate D1 in the international terminal, but they won't touch Huawei phones. Your best move might be to ask at the King Power electronics section near the central concourse - sometimes the staff there know a guy who works on phones, but it's hit or miss.

If you can get through immigration, the Airport Rail Link station at Makkasan has a few small repair shops in the connecting walkway that stay open late. It's about a 25 minute train ride from BKK, and they're used to fixing screens on the spot for travelers. Just make sure you have enough time before your next flight.

You won't find a proper repair shop airside at Suvarnabhumi, that's true. Your best bet is actually the basement floor near the Airport Rail Link station, there's a small mobile repair kiosk called "Mister Mobile" that's open until about 9pm. It's before you go through immigration though, so you'd need to clear customs and go down to the B1 level. Just keep in mind they might not have a P30 Pro screen in stock since it's an older model now.

honestly i doubt youll find a proper phone repair shop inside the airport itself. best bet might be to ask at one of the tech stalls in the transit area but they usually just sell cables and chargers

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
