Best halal ramen in bangkok?

Our friend is halal, we're looking for a good ramen place where we can take him that has a good tori paitan or something. We like tonkotsu but it needs to have at least 1 halal option. There's a spot called Hakata Ramen in the basement of Terminal 21 that does a solid chicken-based broth, not quite tori paitan but it's got that rich, milky texture. They have a halal sign right on the counter, which is rare for a place that specializes in tonkotsu-style noodles. I'd go there over the big mall chains because the broth feels less like it came from a central kitchen.

honestly for halal ramen in bangkok your best bet is bankara ramen at centralwOrld or the one at siam paragon. they have a clear chicken broth that's pretty close to tori paitan, not exactly the same but the flavor is deep enough. just check with the staff about the halal cert, the outlets near siam usually have it posted.

if you're around sukhumvit, try ramen tei at soi 26. they have a separate halal menu with a chicken shio that's decent, not as heavy as tori paitan but lighter and cleaner. also worth checking out konjiki at central embassy, they do a clam-based broth that's naturally halal friendly and pretty unique in bangkok. just call ahead to confirm, the halal cert situation changes sometimes depending on the branch

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
