Thai woman is pregnant, says I'm the father but won't let me prove it. Can I make her take a paternity test?
I met a woman on tinder end of October 2023. I'm 39/m and she 45/f. We went out and dated several times… Hey everyone, I have a burning question that I can't stop thinking about for about a week now.
I met a woman on tinder end of October 2023. I'm 39/m and she 45/f. We went out and dated several times for the two months that I had been there. I would spend a few days with her in Hua Hin, then travel around for a bit and then come back and visit her. Of course it wasn't made to last and when I left the country I assumed it was over. But most importantly, over time she displayed behaviour that made me not very fond of her.
Early January she messages me and tells me she's pregnant. I didn't believe her. She said she was and that she was 100% sure that I was the father. Again, I told her that I didn't believe her and that if she wanted me to believe her that she would have to get a test done. She would have to have a document with her name on it and the date saying that she was pregnant. Six months went by and I heard nothing. I messaged her almost two weeks ago asking what the deal was. She was angry with me and told me to f!@# off and then sent me pictures of her stomach. She is indeed pregnant. She still insists that the child is mine and that she's sure of that.
I now believe that she is pregnant but am still hesitant that I am the father. That being said I do believe that if it is my child, it is my right and responsibility to find out. I've told her that I was willing to take a paternity test and that I would like to see photos of the child when born to see what she (apparently a girl) looks like. She's being very defiant and twisting everything I say to make me feel like a bad person without giving me an actual answer. Basically saying that she won't send me photos of the child and even if she let me take a paternity test that I would never be allowed in the childs life anyways so there's not point in it.
I can't stand the idea of a child being in this world that "might" be mine. I feel that I may bother me for years to come and perhaps even a negative impact in the future if I don't investigate. This woman is also extremely shallow and selfish and I fear that she may be an abusive parent. The problem is that I don't even know what this woman's last name is. I know where her residence is in Hua Hin but that's about it.
Is there any way that I can have a paternity test forced? What could I do or should I do in this situation. All advice welcome. Thank you.
