Vit D Total: 1500-2000 INR -> 650-850 THB.
If you take some package, it used to be cheaper.
Other test costs seem similar/manageable.
oh yeah private labs here are just wild with pricing, especially for anything not in a routine panel. if you're okay with a bit of a trek, try the lab at bangkok christian hospital, i've heard their out-of-pocket rates for single tests like vitamin d are around 1500-1800 baht, way more reasonable than prolab
yeah those prices are a bit rough compared to india for sure. chula clinic at 2200 is prob your best bet for a standard vit d total, honestly that's pretty standard for bangkok private labs. if you're near bangkok hospital or bnh they'll charge like 4000+ for the same thing so chula is decent for the price
one thing nobody tells you is that you can sometimes get it cheaper at the government hospital lab like rama or siriraj if you're willing to wait a bit. walk in early morning, get a doctor slip for just that test and it might be like 800-1200 baht. takes longer but way cheaper
also fwiw the lc/ms method at prolab is more accurate for d2 vs d3 if that matters for your doc's treatment plan. most people just need total though so i'd stick with chula
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
