I found JIB to have the components so far, but their website doesn't have many set options. The thing is, I don't really know how to assemble a PC or which parts I need exactly. Im not sure of the budget, 70k maybe? I'm looking at smth with i7, 32gb ram, 4080 video adapter, 1tb ssd.

yeah 70k for a 4080 prebuilt is tough love, those cards are 50k+ solo at fortune town. advice.co.th has some pre-configured msi and asus rigs but they start around 85k. if you're flexible on the gpu, the asus rog strix g15 at banana it is 68k with a 4070 and i7, runs most games fine. or just head to zeer rangsit, the guys at the big shops will build it for you for like 500 baht labor if you pick the parts there

honestly for 70k with a 4080 you're gonna be hard pressed to find a prebuilt that fits. those cards alone are like 45k+ here. maybe look at Advice or Banana IT, their online stores have more prebuilt ROG and MSI sets than JIB. but tbh at that budget you might need to compromise on the GPU or go secondhand, the Pantip Plaza guys sometimes have good builds already assembled. if you really want a 4080 i'd bump your budget to like 90k or check out the MSI Trident X series at PowerBuy they sometimes have deals

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
