Do you you where should I rent the apartment with cheaper price, where to have food? Should I rent a motorbike. Note: I work in Rama 9 area. Thank guys a lot

ngl if you think everything is expensive here you're prob eating at malls or tourist spots. hit the soi stalls near your office, like the ones on Soi 29 or the food court at Fortune Town. for apartments, go a bit further out like Din Daeng or even Lat Phrao, you can get a studio for 6-7k a month. rent a bike only if you're brave enough for Bangkok traffic and have an IDP, otherwise just take the MRT to Phra Ram 9 station, it's like 20 baht.

check out the area near Phra Khanong or On Nut, way cheaper for rent and still a quick MRT hop to Rama 9. street food by the BTS stations is solid and like 50 baht max

yeah Rama 9 is not the cheapest area honestly. try looking for condos around Huai Khwang or Ratchada, theyre way more affordable and still close. for food, street stalls are your best bet, a full meal can be like 40-60 baht. skip the motorbike unless u have a Thai license, the traffic is insane and cops will fine u. just use the MRT, it goes straight to Rama 9.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
