I would greatly appreciate some first hand experiences or recommendations of doctors in Bangkok for refractive eye surgery.
I'm partial to Phyathai for their Trans PRK due to their Smart Surface technology and midrange price, however, I am unfamiliar with this hospital's reputation and couldn't find many reviews online for their eye center.
Additionally, I'm not completely sure what the difference is between Trans PRK with or without Smart Surface so if anyone smarter than me could explain it would be much appreciated.
I'm also not sure why Piyavate's price for their Trans PRK is so low. They do a lot of advertisements on social media for this procedure and when I called them they said I could do a same day consultation + surgery which kind of spooked me. Seems to be a smaller private hospital too. Any experience with this hospital in general?
FYI the prices are what I could find on the hospitals' websites as of writing this, so I'm not certain of the accuracy.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
