Is there anywhere in Bangkok with a bomber biscuit?
tbh you might have better luck at one of the brunch spots near ari. there's a place called roasts that does a biscuit with honey butter and it's pretty close to what you're describing, tall and soft not crumbly. it's on phahonyothin soi 7, about 250 baht for the plate. not exactly a bomber biscuit but it scratches the itch
I think your best bet is Butter & Crumble down in Thonglor, they do a really good buttermilk biscuit that's pretty close to what you're after. It's not exactly the same, but it's thick and flaky and they serve it with honey butter.
honestly not really a thing here, biscuits here are more like cookies or the dry scones you get at afternoon tea. if you want something close, shugaa in ekkamai does a decent cream biscuit that's soft and buttery but it's not thick like american style. there's also a place called toast & coffee near phrom phong that does a fluffy biscuit sandwich but it's more japanese style, lighter and less dense
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
