if you're in sukhumvit area, check out the beauty supply shops around pratunam market. there's a few on petchaburi road that sell all sorts of hair oils, castor oil included. also try the small indian shops in phahurat (little india) near the giant gurdwara, they have pure castor oil for way less than the mall stores

You can find castor oil at any of the larger supermarkets too, like Big C or Tops. They usually have a small beauty section with it. For dreadlocs specifically, check out one of the African hair braiding shops in the Nana area, they sometimes sell specialty oils you won't find in regular stores.

honestly any pharmacy like Boots or Watson's will have castor oil, it's pretty common here. if you're near Chinatown (Yaowarat) there's a bunch of herb shops that sell it cheap too, just look for "nam man mao" on the label

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
