You might want to try Jibby & Co. in Ekkamai, they have a few board games and the vibe is relaxed enough to set up a backgammon game at the bar. Also, the speakeasy speakeasy bar Tropic City sometimes has game nights, though it's more of a spontaneous thing than a regular fixture.

Honestly I'd check out some of the expat pubs around Sukhumvit, like The Londoner or The Pickled Liver. I've def seen backgammon boards lying around there, more of a casual drinking vibe than a board game cafe.

I've seen people playing at some of the board game cafes around Ari, like The Games Cafe. Not a dedicated backgammon spot but you'll probably find a set and someone to play with.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
