Platinum Fashion Mall in Pratunam has a whole floor of costume and party wear that people tend to miss. The third floor has a few stalls with printed rompers and onesies in that thin cotton you're after, usually around 350 baht. It's air conditioned inside so you can actually take your time browsing without melting.

Hit up Chatuchak market on a weekend, there's a ton of stalls selling cheap funky print pajamas in thin cotton. You'll find animal prints everywhere for like 200-300 baht.

check out the costume shops along khao san road, they've got racks of cheap animal print stuff that'll work for a party. the fabric's usually that thin synthetic stuff that breathes okay but won't hold up after one wash. there's also a place called costume plaza near chatuchak that's open weekdays if you want better quality prints for like 400-500 baht

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
