She is currently being treated at a physiotherapy center that follows the Bobath approach. I couldn't find a specific Bobath center in my Google searches in Bangkok. Does anyone have any information?

check with the pediatric neuro team at St. Louis Hospital on Sathorn, they have a few bobath-trained physios who do outpatient work with kids. the hospital itself is a bit older but the rehab dept is solid and they take walk-ins for initial consults around 800 baht. also worth reaching out to the International Physiotherapy Center at the British Embassy compound on Wireless Road, they have a british-trained therapist who does bobath for cerebral palsy cases specifically. both places are used to working with expats and can help with the documentation from your current therapist

yeah there's no dedicated bobath center with that exact name here but a few places do use the approach. i'd check out Bangkok Physical Therapy on Sukhumvit 49, they have a pediatric neuro unit and some of their therapists trained in bobath. another one is BNH Hospital's pediatric rehab, they're pretty well known for this stuff and their international insurance billing is smooth. might be worth emailing both directly with your daughter's specific needs since the approach can vary between therapists even within the same center

Since you're coming from abroad, make sure to get a referral letter from your current Bobath therapist before you move. Bangkok hospitals and clinics take international documentation much more seriously when it comes to pediatric neuro cases. I'd recommend contacting the Physical Therapy Center at Bangkok Hospital's Children's Health Center on Sathorn Road. They have a few therapists who completed Bobath pediatric courses in the UK and Japan, and they're used to coordinating care with families who are new to the city. The initial assessment costs around 1,500 baht and they usually have English-speaking staff available.

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
