Now I am waiting for them to get back to me and I am worried of legal complications with customs as the store wrote a false price on the package, Am I going to face a fine for this?

honestly you're probably fine, this happens way more often than you'd think. customs here at suvarnabhumi sees fake declared values on packages all the time, especially for sports gear from europe. they'll prob just charge you the full duty on 200 euro plus maybe a handling fee from ups which is like 200-500 baht

bigger issue is ups themselves might flag your address for future shipments since they have the real receipt now. next time just get the seller to send it via thailand post ems, they barely check anything under 1500 baht declared value and no one asks for receipts

Yeah you'll probably get hit with a fine since you basically admitted the declared value was wrong by sending them the real receipt. They might just make you pay the proper duty plus a small penalty, but don't expect to get out of it scot-free since you provided proof of the actual price yourself.

you'll probably just have to pay the real duty and maybe a small fine, nothing crazy legally speaking. ups deals with this all the time, they just want the correct tax amount

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
