Staying sathorn/lumphini area. Any must try food/restaurants around here?

Thanks in advance! πŸ™ Thanks in advance! πŸ™

honestly skip the fancy restaurants and hit up the street stalls on soi sathon 8 around dinner time. there's a lady who does grilled pork skewers for like 10 baht each, they're insane with the spicy dipping sauce. also the boat noodles at phayathai road are worth the short walk, get the dry version not the soup

fwiw if you want something sit-down but not fancy, soi yen akat has a bunch of good spots. there's a place called baan suan pai that does proper khao soi, not the tourist version. also the sukhothai dim sum place near lumphini park is solid for a cheap lunch, they've been there forever. around 60 baht for a big plate of gyoza

Yeah tbh just walk into any random soi and grab a seat at a street stall. the best stuff is prob the unmarked places with plastic chairs.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
