I've been doing treatments for one year now with no results 😭

Has anyone had success with any laser clinics and which one?

Thank you so much πŸ™

yeah that sucks, i had the same issue at a place near Asok, turns out they were using IPL the whole time. ended up going to Yoskarn Clinic over by Ploenchit, they use a diode laser and actually check your hair type first. took about 6 sessions but my legs are basically smooth now, been a year and a half and barely anything grows back. it's a bit pricier, like 2k a pop, but worth it if you're tired of wasting money on fake lasers. ask them what machine they use before booking, if they

I feel your pain, I went through the same thing at a few places near Thong Lo before giving up on them. The trick is finding a clinic that uses a proper medical-grade laser, not the IPL machines that a lot of "laser" spots quietly use. I had real results at Lek Clinic on Sukhumvit Soi 5, they use a Candela GentleLase and the nurse actually turns the energy up based on your skin tone, it hurts a bit more but it works. After about four sessions there I noticed the hair thinning out for real, and I'm now at the maintenance stage after eight. It's around 1,500 to 2,500 baht per session depending on the area, which is not the cheapest, but you're paying for the actual laser. Check if the clinic asks you to shave before the session and if they have a cooling tip on the handpiece, that's usually a sign they're using the real thing.

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
