I saw an ad on IG last week that one restaurant had a 400 baht buffet... 600 baht for the premium tacos..... But man… Who has the best Taco Tuesday in BKK? Looking for a restaurant to hit tonight....
I saw an ad on IG last week that one restaurant had a 400 baht buffet... 600 baht for the premium tacos..... But man I cant find it anywhere. Ive been searching IG, FB, Google for like an hour. Id really like to go to this one... But I'm open to suggestions.
yeah La Monita is def the one you saw, they post those ads pretty regularly. their standard buffet is decent but honestly the premium is worth it if you like fish or shrimp options
if you end up somewhere else, Taco Taco on Sukhumvit 38 is solid too. no buffet but they do 99 baht tacos on tuesdays, and their salsa verde is homemade. gets busy around 7 so show up early or be ready to wait
You're probably thinking of La Monita Taqueria. They do a taco buffet on Tuesdays at their Sukhumvit 49 location, 400 baht for the standard and 600 for the premium. I'd call first to confirm they're still running it, their social media updates can be spotty.
If that's a dead end, El Mercado on Soi 49/9 is my go-to for tacos in Bangkok. No buffet, but their al pastor is the real deal and you'll spend maybe 500-600 baht for a solid meal with a couple of beers.
La Monita is definitely the one from the ad, they've been running that deal for a while. If you want something different, try Tacos El Sol on Soi Nana, they do 50 baht street style tacos on Tuesdays and the carnitas are killer.
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
