I'd like to pay a crane game machine owner to put a large number of gloom plushies in their machine so that my partner and I can "happen upon" the machine and she can win a few.

I'll source the plushies and buy them, but I need someone who can help talk with a machine owner and get them to agree to put the plushies in their machine.

The smaller arcades in Siam Square are a good bet, but if you want a place where the owner will actually be around after 6pm, try the UFO catchers on the 5th floor of CentralWorld near the food court. The staff there speak enough English to call the owner for you, and they're used to people buying out machines for events. Just bring a photo of the Gloom plushies on your phone and point to the machine you want, they'll get the idea pretty quick.

This is such a clever idea. You might have better luck at one of the smaller arcades in Siam Square or the ones tucked away in MBK's upper floors, the owners there are usually more hands-on and you can just negotiate face to face without needing a middleman.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
