Any great all you can eat Korean BBQ recommendations? Around lumphini park?

If you're up for a bit of a walk, there's a spot just past the park on Rama IV called Kko Kko, it's a small place tucked near the Sathorn side that locals swear by. The unlimited set is around 450 baht and they bring out this really good marinated beef short rib that the bigger places don't bother with. It's not fancy, the tables are cramped and the smoke gets a little thick, but that's part of the charm. For a change of pace, the lunch buffet at the Korean Cultural Center on Soi 55 is usually quieter, though it's more of a weekday thing and the selection leans heavier on stews than grilled meat, so it depends what you're after.

You're right by the heart of it, actually. Head to the Korean town on Sukhumvit 12, just a short walk or one BTS stop from Lumphini. I always send people to Seoul BBQ on Soi 12, it's about 499 baht for the premium set and the quality of the galbi is noticeably better than the cheaper spots. The banchan refill is quick too, which is rare. If you want something a bit more no-frills but still solid, check out Mr. Park on Soi 55, it's a further ride but the pork belly there is my personal pick. Just avoid the places right on Sukhumvit Road itself, they tend to charge tourist prices for the same stuff.

The Asoke area has a few spots that fly under the radar. I'd skip the big chains and try Sae Ma Eul on Soi 23, it's about a ten minute walk from Lumphini and the set menu runs around 400 baht per person. They do a mean samgyeopsal and the waitstaff actually rotates the meat for you, which saves you from burning half of it like I usually do. If you're okay with a bit of a queue, the branch near Queen Sirikit Center has a lunch deal that's unbeatable, but you'll want to get there before noon.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
