Pre-covid - there was a great bar called Titanium with house band that played great rock/roll etc. Now defunct - anyone know of good similar bars around the Sukhumvit area?

If you're willing to go a few stops on the BTS, check out The Dubliner on Soi 33/1. They've got a live band that plays classic rock and Irish pub standards most nights, and the vibe is more relaxed than Titanium was. The pints are a solid 200 baht during happy hour, and the crowd tends to be a mix of locals and expats who actually listen to the music.

honestly i'd check out the clubhouse on soi 11, it's a bit of a hidden spot with a solid cover band that does classic rock and some 90s stuff. not as big as titanium was but the sound's decent and drinks are cheap. also if you're up for a short cab ride, the londoner pub on soi 33 has live bands on weekends that cover rock and roll, more of a chill pub vibe tho

titanium was a vibe for sure. check out rock pub on sukhumvit soi 11, it's got that same classic rock energy with a live band most nights. not as polished as titanium was, more of a dive feel, but the crowd is into it. if you want something a bit more upscale, the iron fairies is on soi 11 too, they have live music but it's more bluesy rock and the place looks like a fantasy forge inside. both are walkable from nana bts

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
