Any way to get a form for work that I got sick in bkk and couldn't take my flight? I didn't get one at the hospital on koh Tao but urgently need one. Anybody got an idea?

yeah that other comment is right about clinics but if u need something more official for work, go to bnh hospital on soi 7 sukhumvit. their travel clinic does proper documentation with stamps and all that. costs more like 1000-1500 baht but it'll look legit to any employer. the smaller clinics sometimes print it on receipt paper which might raise eyebrows

Try Bumrungrad's international clinic on Sukhumvit 3. Their documentation is bilingual and they can issue a certificate for the dates you were actually ill on Koh Tao if you explain the situation clearly. You'll pay around 2,000 baht but it comes on proper letterhead with a doctor's license number. Just bring your Koh Tao hospital receipt if you still have it, it helps the doctor write something accurate.

honestly just hit up any clinic in Bangkok, they'll write a "fit to fly" or sick cert for like 500 baht. just tell them when u were sick and they backdate it no questions asked. try a smaller place near sukhumvit, they're chill about it

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
