May I know if there are any services that loan out for foreign students in bangkok?

another thing to check is if your home country has any education loan programs that work abroad. some countries like the US or UK let you use federal loans at accredited international schools, but you'd need to confirm your design school is recognized. also worth asking older students in your program how they manage, thai students often split payments through family or friends and you might find a similar informal arrangement with a classmate's parents who could co-sign. there's also a few online tutoring platforms that pay in thai baht directly to your account, like preply or cambly, if you're a native english speaker you could pull in 150-200 baht per hour

honestly, student loans for foreigners in thailand are nearly impossible to get through banks here. they almost always require a thai national as a guarantor plus proof of income from your home country. have you talked to your design school's financial aid office? some private schools like shinawatra or stamford offer their own installment plans or partial scholarships for international students. worst case, maybe look into a part-time job teaching english or working at a hostel near khao san road, it won't cover full tuition but could help with living costs while you figure out the rest

yeah banks here are super strict about lending to foreigners, even with a work permit. your best bet might be crowdfunding platforms like gofundme if you have a solid network back home, or check if your embassy offers emergency education grants. some design schools like lertlah or rabien's international programs let u pay per semester instead of upfront, might be worth asking your registrar about that

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
