I need a bus this evening from Bangkok to Buriram but cant find one online, anyone got any tips?

Usually I use the busonlineticket website, but doesn't appear to be a bus to Buriram today.... Unless any of those drop points go through the city?

Previously, I believe Ive bought tickets to Buriram...... (its been a while)

Anyways, if I just go to Ekkemai or Mo Chit, will there be a bus to Buriram this evening to Buriram that isn't on this site?

Anyone have any tips? I feel like its not looking good.....

Would be perfect if that 6:30 bus to Phutthaisong goes through Buriram.... But it seems quite a bit far off....

yeah the drop points you listed are on the main highway but none of them go through buriram city proper, theyre all a detour east or south. nang rong is the closest but still an hour by local bus from there

just head to mo chit, the northern bus terminal. the government buses to buriram leave pretty regularly from gate 72 or 73, not always on the booking sites. i think the last one is around 8pm but double check at the counter when you get there

if you miss the bus, the vans at the mo chit van station run later and are cheaper, about 250 baht. they drop you at the buriram bus station, same as the buses would

Those three stops are all on Highway 24, which goes east of Buriram. The 6:30 bus to Phutthaisong would take you way off course, you'd end up closer to Surin than Buriram city.

Mo Chit is your best bet. Head to the 30-something gates on the second floor, the private bus companies like Bor Kor Sor run frequent departures to Buriram that don't show up on aggregate sites. I've walked up and bought a ticket 20 minutes before departure plenty of times. The last bus is usually around 8:30pm from gate 73, just get there before 7 to be safe.

honestly just go to Mo Chit, there's always buses heading up that way even if they're not on the booking sites. the government buses and private vans both run that route pretty frequently, especially in the evening

the stops you listed like Nang Rong and Prakhon Chai are actually on the way to Buriram, just further south. Phutthaisong is a bit east though so that 6:30 bus prob goes a different route

if u get to Mo Chit before 6pm you'll def find something, just ask at counter 30 or 31 for Buriram tickets. worst case grab a van from the van terminal nearby, they go all night

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
