Chiang Mai

Things to Do in Chiang Mai (2026)

Solid guide, covers the main bases well. One thing I'd flag for anyone reading: the umbrella painting at Bo Sang is more of a factory tour than a workshop. You watch artisans paint and can buy, but if...

Vinh

Things to Do in Vinh (2026)

Solid write-up. One thing I'd add about Cửa Lò: the seafood restaurants right on the beachfront charge tourist prices, so walk a block inland toward Nguyễn Huệ and you'll pay half for the same fresh c...

Ad Dammam

Getting around Dammam without a car?

The Dammam bus situation depends a lot on where you're staying. If you're near the corniche or downtown, the SAPTCO local routes along King Saud Road and Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Road do cover the sou...

Is Schufa legit?

I was convinced for the past couple of days that I read somewhere about a new law that forbids landlords from asking for your Schufa. Just talked about it to my date but she doesn't know about it. Tri...

Autism friendly hair salon?

Hey, I'm tired of looking like a rabid raccoon, but I'm also scared shitless of going to a hair salon. Been cutting my own hair for years, I'm starting to look crazed. Can anyone recommend a hair sa...

I bought tickets for a picnic mat for 2 people to see the Showa Kinen Park Fireworks Festival in Tachikawa this Saturday, July 27th, from 19:15 to 20:15, but I'm not going to be able to go. I bought t...
