i'm coming to Osaka for a few weeks in 2026 and will need to work remotely part of the time. is the internet reliable enough for video calls, and are there coworking spots or cafes where people actually work near the Shimada site? also how do folks handle the time difference if they need to overlap with Europe or the US?

Internet in Osaka is solid for video calls, but for Europe overlap you'll be up at 5am, so a 24h cafe near Umeda beats any coworking desk.

Shimada iseki: honestly, no coworking nearby. Umeda instead.
