try the basement studio at singha complex on asok, right above the mrt exit. it's called singha space, they've got a sprung floor and decent speakers, 350 baht an hour for a group. way quieter than the centralworld options and less foot traffic. also, the small room at flow house in ekkamai works if ur into contact improv or contemporary, it's a yoga studio they rent out after hours, 500 baht flat for two hours

a few of the smaller coworking spaces in thong lo have rooms that work well for this, like the back room at hubba-to on soi 55. it's not a dance studio but the floor is decent and you can move the tables around, around 250 baht an hour if you book through their site. for a more outdoor vibe, the little amphitheater at santiphap park near victory monument has a flat concrete circle that's good for hip hop or breaking, just gotta get there before 6pm when the guards start kicking people out for the night

honestly if you're open to something a bit less polished, try hitting up some of the smaller soi community halls around On Nut or Bang Na. places like the On Nut Community Center have these bare concrete rooms with a basic fan and a mirror, dirt cheap like 100-200 baht for a few hours. just call the district office to book, they're usually chill about it. also, the rooftop at The Commons Saladaeng has this open deck space that's free if you buy drinks from the vendors, but it gets windy up there so music might be an issue.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
